CONCEPT
"Reimagine Nest" was created for Casa Moderna, an international expo focused on innovative, sustainable living. The core idea revolved around the intersection of eco-conscious design and emotional warmth—reimagining what home could look like in a more sustainable future.
Inspired by the art of paper-craft, the project used tactile textures and handcrafted shapes—cut-out houses, foldable chairs, modular spaces—to symbolise the gentle balance between creativity and conscious living.
The nest became a metaphor: safe, adaptable, and lovingly assembled from thoughtful elements.

INSPIRATION & THINKING
• Sustainability meets storytelling — Papercraft became both material and metaphor, showing that even the simplest materials can be reimagined into something beautiful and functional.
• A home you can feel — Warm earthy tones, organic textures, and analogue design gestures captured the emotional side of sustainable living.
• Small scale, big idea — Miniature paper houses and furniture symbolised the adaptability of design and the personal scale of meaningful change.
Approach
The design direction balanced coziness and innovation, with an emphasis on tactile elements and human connection. Rather than relying on sleek futurism, the concept leaned into warmth, imperfection, and craft—reflecting the ethos of a sustainable home built from the heart.

Design
• Developed custom papercraft models of homes and furniture to serve as centrepieces for the visual identity.
• Built a warm, earthy colour palette—terracotta, sage green, creamy whites—to evoke nature and nurture.
• Integrated organic textures (grain, recycled paper, natural shadows) to give digital materials a handcrafted feel.
• Designed a modular visual system adaptable to signage, merchandise, digital interfaces, and workshop spaces.
Implementation
Rolled out across event banners, directional signage, social media visuals, motion graphics, and printed brochures.
Display installations featured 3D paper scenes, creating immersive vignettes of future living spaces.
