Established in Valencia in 1980, Casa del Pescador began as a simple coastal cottage where the rhythms of the sea and the art of handcrafted chocolate first intertwined. Inspired by the local fisherman’s daily routine, each batch of chocolate captures the essence of ocean breezes and the lively spirit of the seaside. Over the decades, Casa del Pescador has grown into a cherished name—renowned for its subtle blend of maritime heritage and sweet indulgence, always honouring the warmth of its Valencian roots.

CONCEPT
The core concept revolves around the harmony between the fisherman’s honest labour and the sweet reward of handcrafted chocolate. Symbolic imagery—like a fish hook reeling in a chocolate bar—represents both the brand’s playful origins and its commitment to premium ingredients.
A refined colour scheme of deep navy, chocolate brown, and soft neutrals evokes the sea’s depth, the chocolate’s richness, and the welcoming ambiance of a coastal refuge. Through thoughtful typography and minimal yet impactful graphics, Casa del Pescador conveys authenticity, heritage, and a touch of whimsy.
Approach
Casa del Pescador’s visual identity draws upon its roots in a small coastal cottage, where the daily life of a fisherman and the art of crafting chocolate converge. The design embraces the simplicity of line-drawn elements—such as the fisherman hooking a bar of chocolate—while integrating the brand’s sea-inspired colour palette. By balancing tradition with a clean, modern aesthetic, the approach ensures the story of maritime heritage remains at the forefront, highlighted by subtle, natural textures and warm, inviting tones.
