Overview
CineQuest is an interactive platform where users discover films, join virtual watch parties, and connect through community challenges.
I led the UX research and visual/interaction design, built the front-end UI, and collaborated on the backend structure in a three-person team with web developer and motion designer.
My Role & Contributions:
Visual Design – Logo, UI system, typography, colour, iconography
UX – Wireframes, user flows, interactive prototype
Front-End Dev – HTML/CSS + Tailwind, responsive layout
Backend Collaboration – Rails API endpoints for user data, forums, achievements

Design System
Built a cohesive visual system across:
CinePick – smart watchlist
CineTune – discovery quiz
CineParty – watch together
CineChallenges – badges & leaderboards
CineForum – community threads

User Research

Reflection
CineQuest brought together everything I love: visual clarity, collaborative problem-solving,
and designing for shared experience.
and designing for shared experience.
It showed me how structure and storytelling come alive when users feel part of the product.
