Design and build a responsive website for ECOvibes, a non-profit organisation dedicated to reducing carbon emissions. The goal was to create an engaging platform that educates, empowers, and inspires teenagers to take meaningful action towards a sustainable future.
Approach
ECOvibes needed a website that could resonate with a younger audience while delivering clear, actionable information on environmental issues. I focused on creating a visually dynamic and interactive experience that would capture the attention of teenagers and encourage them to make sustainable choices.
Process

Discovery & Research
We worked closely with the ECOvibes team to understand their mission and target audience. Through workshops and user research, we identified key pain points and opportunities to engage teenagers effectively.

Content Strategy
Complex environmental topics were broken down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand content. We incorporated visuals like infographics and animations to make the information more accessible and engaging.

Design & Development
The website was designed with a bright, energetic colour palette and custom illustrations to reflect ECOvibes’ mission of hope and action. We built the site using a modular approach, allowing the team to easily update content and add new features in the future.

User Testing
Prototypes were tested with a group of teenagers to ensure the design and functionality met their expectations. Feedback was used to refine the user experience, particularly around navigation and interactive elements.
Outcome
The new ECOvibes website successfully launched, providing a platform that not only educates but also inspires teenagers to take action. The site has seen a significant increase in traffic and user engagement, with positive feedback from both the ECOvibes team and their audience.
